State investigators have determined that Anchorage jail inmate Brian Pinkerton, 36, who died behind bars on April 21, had heroin and methamphetamine in his system. "We believe Pinkerton died as a result of shooting up drugs in prison," Corrections Department spokesman Corey Allen-Young said today.
